If there’s one thing Barcelona players know all about, it’s the tax man.
Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Neymar have all fought their own issues with the tax man and their failure to pay said taxes, and now it seems that Neymar has reached out to Cristiano Ronaldo over Whatsapp, putting their rivalries aside, and claiming that he will offer him support.
That’s according to DiarioGol, who think that the players share a good relationship off the field.

Staying in Madrid

One thing that does look like it’s going to happen is Ronaldo staying in Madrid, with the support coming from all corners, the club looking like they’re going to pay his £13 million tax bill, and president Florentino Perez coming out in public support of the player.
That of course means he won’t be going back to Man United – but it could see the sale of Alvaro Morata pushed through.
