Cristiano Ronaldo hates Spain

Portuguese paper A Bola have dropped a huge story on their front page on Friday.
They shout from the rooftops that Cristiano Ronaldo wants to quit Real Madrid and Spanish football.
The story comes on the back of a rough week for Ronaldo in which he’s been accused of massive tax fraud by the Spanish tax man.

Ronaldo comes out fighting

As is standard for a Jorge Mendes client (see Pepe) Cristiano Ronaldo came out fighting regarding tax fraud allegations that emerged from Spanish prosecutors earlier this week.
Spanish prosecutors filed a lawsuit against Cristiano Ronaldo for alleged tax fraud of £13m (€14.7m) between 2011 and 2014.
Ronaldo released a lengthy statement denying tax fraud but admitted towards the end that “the declared amount can be discussed”.

‘Get me outta here’

On Thursday, Ronaldo posted an eye catching message on social media revealing how he intends to stay silent as the tax fraud story unfolds.
